How to Make An Small Projector

Now a days Projectors are usefull for us . we may watch movies or we may see ouown cartoons to make a mini projector at home here are the steps how to build an home video projectors.
If you have a small video player or other media player, you can easily turn it into a miniature projector. A video projector takes the light from a video image and projects it through lenses to create a magnified image. You'll need a small fresnel lens, which is much like multiple lenses stuck together --- you can find these at most office supply or dollar stores. After you have the lens and video source, you connect them together in a frame that will focus the video image light through the lens.

Things To Be Needed :-

  • Hand-held media player

  • Cardboard

  • Scissors

  • Electrical or duct tape

  • Glue

  • Fresnel lens

  • Instructions :-

      • 1
Take a miniature media player with a video screen. An iPod, Zune or other device that can store photos and videos with a sharp picture will work best. A hand-held TV set will work, too, but you will give up picture quality.
      • 2
Construct a small, four-sided cardboard frame that looks like a square tube or a box with open ends at opposite sides. It should be the same height and width as the media player's screen and about three inches long. Tape this frame to the player's screen, putting as much tape around the edges as possible.
      • 3
Build a second box frame that is barely larger than the first frame connected to the media player. This frame needs to fit snugly on the end of the first frame but can slide back and forth across it.
      • 4
Cut out one more piece of cardboard that is the same height and width as the end of the second frame and then hollow it out to make a cardboard rim.
      • 5
Cut a plastic fresnel lens down until it's small enough to fit within the cardboard rim. Cut the lens all the way around and make sure its original center remains the center of the finished piece. Glue the lens inside the rim.
      • 6
Tape the cardboard rim and fresnel lens to the open end of the box frame on the media player. Make sure that you surround this piece with tape on all ends.
      • 7
Prop up your projector on a table or other flat surface - you can tape one last cardboard piece to the back of the player and tape the other end to the table. Make sure the projector is facing a blank white wall and then turn the player on. To focus the projected image, move the larger box frame back and forth.

How to build an USB Powered Fan

Computer fans run off of 5 volts DC. USB ports provide 5 volts DC and 500 milliamps of power and most computer fans will run at less than 500 milliamps. It makes sense that you should be able to connect a computer fan to the USB port of your computer in order to power it. This is in fact possible, but keep in mind that these are totally different kinds of connections and some custom wiring will be involved. Additionally, a short circuit in your custom wires could burn out your USB port.

    Things To Be Needed :-

  • Wire cutter

  • Wire stripper

  • USB cord (male end required)

  • Utility knife

  • Heat shrink tubing

  • Soldering iron

  • Rosin core lead-free silver solder

  • Lighter

  • Electrical tape

  • Instructions :-

      • 1
Cut the wires of the computer fan as close to the connector, not the fan, as possible. Using the wire stripper, strip 3/8 inch of the insulation from both wires. The computer fan needs to be a two-wire type. The three-wire types are made to be able to control the speed of the fan, which you will not be able to do through a USB port.
      • 2
Cut off the end of the USB cord. Locate the end that will plug into your computer's USB port and, since this is the end you want to keep, cut off the other end as close to the connector as possible. Using your knife, make a small cut in the outside insulation of the USB cable and peel back the insulation about 2 1/2 inches and cut off the peeled-back insulation. You will have exposed 4 wires: black, red, yellow and green. The yellow and green are useless for this project and can be cut off as close to the outside insulation as possible. Strip 3/8 inch of insulation off of both the red and the black wires.
      • 3
Cut two pieces of heat shrink tubing, each about 1 inch long. Slide these over the computer fan electrical wires and make sure they stay as far as possible from the stripped wire ends.
      • 4
Cut about three inches of heat shrink tubing and slide it over the black and red wires of the USB cord and continue sliding until you have slid it over the insulation that holds all four of the USB wires. Make sure the tubing stays as far away from the stripped wires as possible.
      • 5
Twist together one of the wires from the computer fan and either the red or black wire from the USB cable. Once twisted, solder the two wires together. Bend the soldered connection until it is parallel with the wires and slide the heat shrink tubing over the new connection. Repeat this process for the other wires.
      • 6
Using a lighter, hold the flame about 2 inches below the tubing and move it back and forth until the tubing shrinks evenly.
      • 7
Slide the tubing that is on the USB cord over the entire new connection, making sure to cover everything. Again, use the lighter to shrink the tube.
      • 8
Wrap the entire length of the wires in electrical tape if you want to strengthen the connection.

How to Unlock A locked Door Without A Key

Opening a locked door without a key can seem like a difficult task. But with a few tools, you can create a key and open the locked door. Simple items you can find around the house, such as an Allen wrench, screwdriver, paper clip, straight pin and safety pin, can open a variety of doors. Before starting, read these helpful tips.

      • 1
Find an appropriate screwdriver. Since screwdrivers come in a variety of sizes, try a few and choose one that fits best. Make sure the screwdriver doesn't fit too tight--it shouldn't touch the sides of the walls of the lock. Gently jiggle the screwdriver from side to side, using very light pressure to open the door.
      • 2
Use an Allen wrench. This is considered one of the best items to use when unlocking a door. Use a grinder to shave metal off the Allen wrench, making it smaller. Keep inserting the Allen wrench into the keyhole to determine how much more you need to whittle down. Make sure the finished product doesn't fit too tightly in the keyhole; this will prevent the door from opening.
      • 3
Straighten a metal paper clip into a straight line, and ensure there isn't any bending in the clip. Then bend a very small loop that fits easily into the keyhole. You may need to adjust the loop a few times before getting the right size.
      • 4
Use a straight pin to open the lock. Use a nail file to sand down the sharp point on the straight pin. This prevents you from harming yourself while picking the lock. Insert the straight pin into the keyhole until you hear the lock engage and open.
      • 5
Use a safety pin. Choose one that is metal, and smooth out the point as you did with the straight pin. Gently insert the safety pin into the lock and wiggle around until you hear the door open.

How to Make 3D Glasses for TV

The analog glasses needed to watch 3D movies can be expensive, and not having a pair of these glasses causes you to miss the effect of the movie. With a few supplies from home you can create your own 3D glasses.
    Things Will Be Needed:-
Pencil Poster board Scissors Clear cellophane Tape Blue permanent marker Red permanent marker Stapler Elastic string

    Instructions

      • 1
With a pencil, draw a half mask or a pair of glasses onto the poster board. Be sure to draw the mask or glasses big enough to fit the front part of your face. Draw circles for your eyes.
      • 2
Using scissors, cut out the area you have drawn for your eyes. The easiest way to do this is to push your scissors through the center of the circle you have made for the eye holes, then cut out the traced hole.
      • 3
Cut out two pieces of cellophane and tape it to the poster board to hold it in place over each eye hole you have cut out. The cellophane should be big enough to cover the eye holes.
      • 4
Color the cellophane that will be covering the right eye with the blue permanent marker. Color the cellophane that will be covering the left eye with the red permanent marker.
      • 5
Allow the permanent marker to dry completely, otherwise the permanent marker on the cellophane will smudge. If ink comes off on your finger, set it aside for a few more minutes to dry.
      • 6
Pull the elastic string around your head and cut it at a length that won't be too tight or the elastic string can pop off. Staple the elastic string to the upper corners of the poster board.

    How to Make 3D Glassses

    Instructions

      • Pop the lenses out of the sun glasses. Trace out the shape on the cellophane and cut out one blue lens, and one red lens.
      • 2
Wrap the colored cellophane over the lenses and pop them back in. The blue lens must must be put over the right eye, and the red lens over the left eye. It can not be reversed! The 3-D effect from any type of 3D glasses comes because of how the eye interprets the color.
      • 3
If you can't find red and blue cellophane, do step 2 with clear cellophane, but then use red and blue permanent markers to color the cellophane to trick your eyes into providing a 3 dimensional effect.
      • 4
Make sure the glasses fit snugly, and play your favorite video games with your new pair of 3D PC gaming glasses.
